The training and education program

The training and education program is meant for the Co-operatives and Farmers, who will participate in the growing of the Jatropha Curcas Lin plant at the basis of the Projects set up by Perum Perhutani, local governments and farmers group (herein after mentioned as “local Partners”) and PT Waterland Asia Bio Ventures (herein after mentioned as PTWABV).

The purpose of this training is to give a better knowledge of this plant for the sake of both a longer life of the plant, an optimal production and highest quality of seed available.

All aspects must finally lead to a strong participation of all parties and individuals involved and improvement of the economical circumstances of their communities and their individual lives.

The first trainings will be given to the trainers, who have been appointed by their Co-operatives. They will be selected because of their available knowledge of the planting of the JCL or their knowledge of the English language or their authority in the community or they may be an official teacher already.

Moreover by doing so all parties involved are contributing to the reduction of the CO2 emissions worldwide, which is one of the key targets of the Kyoto treaty.
